Ellebeta has always been focused extensive resources in order to ensure an high quality product and service. Since 2016, Ellebeta, has become a certified company ISO 9001: 2008 quality control systems for the production of mechanical parts. The certification obtained meant that Ellebeta can: ensure a better quality management, ensuring a better process efficiency, allowing to increase its competitiveness, lead to the reduction of mistakes, enable to achieve and maintain compliance with the highest international quality standards .
1. Production of the rough part (casting or bar)
Ellebeta manages and monitors, through its own qualified quality monitoring process, the evolution of the process. During this phase, according to the customer’s needs and Ellebeta’s knowledge, the company uses some of the most sophisticated control tests on material to verify the quality of its composition.
- Chemical analysis test (CA)
Thanks to the chemical analysis of the material, Ellebeta knows that the obtained rough component has a good quality and it’s conformed with the qualitative standards certified by international directives. In a close collaboration with qualified laboratories, Ellebeta uses this test as the first one on the material and after an accurate analysis, its quality office reports every details in the “CA certificate”, that is a certified form that guarantees to Ellebeta and to its customers the conformity of the material at the start.
- Material Test (MT)
Over the years Ellebeta has learnt when and how it’s necessary to monitor that the component, rough or semifinished, maintains its mechanical properties in total conformity. In this case, in collaboration with some external qualified laboratories, Ellebeta accomplishes some mechanical tests which reports the real values of the material. The MT is used to verify metals properties about their: mechanical strength, resilience and hardness. The test is then validated with specific conformity reports “MT certificate”. This test is essential to guarantee continuity of quality.
- Microscope test (MicroPhoto)
On request Ellebeta supplies also the MICROGRAPHIES of the structure. A specific microscopic test, accomplished on “test bars” obtained from the component, shows the real composition of the material. Ellebeta accomplishes this important test when in order to prove that the metallographic structure of the steel, the cast iron or the aluminum stays in compliance with the specific requests even after thermal treatments applied on the rough component.
2. Material entrance flow
Following the quality test of the first material, Ellebeta applies to be sure that the right composition of the component hasn’t changed caused by irregularities or anomalies due to the CASTING process. That’s why Ellebeta accomplishes the cutting test ON A FEW SAMPLES OF EACH LOT
- Cutting test (CT)
The management of Ellebeta includes some values as the simplicity and the concreteness. The CT is a shear sectioning test that highlights the lack of homogeneity or the presence of SANDHOLES. The CT reports its details on a specific document report, so that it’s possible to mark every samples lot.
3. Mechanical processing
The component that has passed the previous tests, begins the processing phase. Ellebeta accomplishes various CHECK REPORTS, which are dimensional tests used to verify that the incidence of tolerance is still in compliance on the rough component, in line during the processing phases, but also when the component has finished the processing phases and it’s ready to DELIVERED.
- Check report (CR)
The process is controlled in line at the end of the production flow but also during all the different phases with manual controls and tests on the automatic machines. The tested material is supplied with the CR documents which guarantee the conformity.
4. Finished component
Ellebeta tests the functionality of the finished component designed in every detail if it is an assembled component; if the component is a mechanical one, which has a treated or painted surface, Ellebeta can verify that the treatment is functionally correct and in line with the international STANDARD.
